Pahari Goat 2023 A Two-Day Celebration of Himalayan Youth Culture

Pahari Goat 2023 took things to the next level, bringing together over 800 attendees at TIPA, McLeod Ganj for two unforgettable days of hip-hop music, dance, street art, and creative expression. Set in the heart of the Himalayas, the festival stood as a bold celebration of Himalayan youth culture and emerging artistic voices. The lineup featured 22 solo music artists, 10 professional dancers, and 3 visual/graffiti artists, creating a vibrant mix of live performances and spontaneous artistic showcases.

A standout moment was the Fly Jam Pahari Edition, a high energy dance battle hosted in collaboration with the Brooklyn Academy of Dance & Art (BADA), Delhi. With over 40 dancers from across India competing, the battle brought raw movement, cultural exchange, and electrifying energy to the crowd. Skill building workshops were led by renowned mentors King Bolt and Sazzie, giving dancers the opportunity to learn, connect, and grow in a collaborative, professional environment.

More than just a festival, Pahari Goat 2023 reaffirmed its mission: to empower young Himalayan creatives, build community through the arts, and amplify regional voices on a national stage. It’s a space for the real GOATs of the culture to rise, thrive, and lead. Check out the official aftermovie and see why the GOAT must be crazy.
